Within Canada’s premier engineering program, the Department of Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering serves as the nucleus for 18 faculty members, including three Canada Research Chairs, dedicated to pioneering research in Advanced/Additive Manufacturing, Autonomous Mobility, Intelligent Robotics, and Interdisciplinary Mechatronics. Anchored by state-of-the-art facilities like Waterloo Robohub, Mechatronic Vehicle Systems (MVS) Lab and Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing (MSAM) Lab, it stands as a beacon of excellence in engineering innovation. Alongside spearheading a world-class research agenda, the ideal candidate will engage in teaching both foundational and advanced subjects within the field of mechatronics engineering, inspiring our undergraduate and graduate students for a better tomorrow.
