Position Overview:
- Lead research projects focusing on developing and optimizing network protocols for power systems.
- Explore innovative applications of AI in modeling and managing energy systems, particularly in optimizing grid performance and reliability.
- Manage day-to-day operations and research activities in a cutting-edge laboratory equipped with:
- NovaCor real-time digital simulator from RTDS Technologies for generation and transmission systems modeling.
- A comprehensive set of SEL equipment for distribution system testing, including SEL-3555 RTAC, SEL-451, SEL-351, SEL-787, and SEL-387 relays.
- Publish findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in network protocols, power systems modeling, or AI applications in energy systems.
- Demonstrable experience with real-time simulation and/or control systems in an academic or industrial setting.
Required Education:
- A recent Doctoral Degree in CS, ECE with specialization in power systems security.
Required Other:
Additional Preferred:
- Experienced in A.I., Deep Learning, and Simulations.
