Robotics, Automation, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). This role involves delivering hands-on training in industrial automation systems, robotic programming, and PLC ladder logic to prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing, logistics, and related fields.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Develop and deliver curriculum for courses such as:
- Robotic Teach Pendant Programming (TPP)
- PLC hardware and ladder logic programming
- Troubleshooting automated systems
- Industrial networking and HMIs.
- Provide hands-on lab instruction using FANUC, Siemens, or Allen-Bradley systems.
- Assess student performance through projects, exams, and skills demonstrations.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 3+ years of industry experience in robotics, PLCs, or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and robotic systems.
- Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI background check as a condition of employment a
Preferred:- Teaching experience at the college level.
- Certifications (e.g., FANUC Handling Tool Operations).
