Primary Duties and Responsibilities: College of DuPage seeks a full-time, tenure track faculty member to teach Engineering courses starting in August 2026.
The Engineering Department provides foundational coursework for the first two years of undergraduate programs in disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering. We are seeking a candidate qualified to teach Mechanical and Civil Engineering courses, including Engineering Graphics and Design, Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, and Thermodynamics.
We are actively seeking innovative, collaborative colleagues who regularly examine their pedagogy and practices in order to foster more equitable, accessible, and inclusive student learning.
Faculty duties include classroom instruction, assessment, curriculum development, advising students, professional inquiry, committee work and engaging with instructional technology.
Teaching assignments may include various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats during days, evenings and weekends. Faculty positions may not be fully remote.
Qualifications:- A master's degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, aerospace engineering, agricultural engineering, architectural engineering, automotive engineering, energy engineering, environmental engineering, or structural engineering.
- Teaching experience in Higher Education required.
