How will you contribute?
The CLEANH3 project investigates the gas phase synthesis of advanced polymer catalyst thin films for the conversion of small and low-energy molecules into advanced chemicals and fuels.
The postdoctoral researcher will work on the oxidative chemical vapor deposition of unexplored building blocks for the synthesis of functional thin films (WP2). Comprehensive characterization methods, including surface analysis (XPS, Raman, SIMS, HRMS, TEM, FTIR, SEM, XRD, UV/Vis/NIR) and electrochemical analysis will be employed to evaluate the thin film properties for energy applications.
The researcher will work closely with members of the hosting group to build up a deep understanding on the electrochemical behaviour of the produced thin films and develop strategies to enhance their functional properties. The postdoctoral researcher, integrated to a very engaged and ambitious research team, is expected to develop these research activities to the highest scientific level.
The contract duration may vary regarding your contract's start date and funding (ending in December 2027).
