
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton University has an occasional curricular need for lecturers to teach, co-teach, or lead precepts in areas such as Applied Physics, Biological & Biomedical, Computing & Networking, Data & Information Science, Energy & Environment, Integrated Electronic Systems, Materials & Devices, Photonics, Quantum Engineering, Robotics & Cyberphysical Systems, Security, etc.
The department accepts applications in advance in the event the occasion arises where such lecturers are needed. Any appointments and duty time are subject to enrollments and may be for one or two semesters during Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027. Fall 2026 position would be from September 1, 2026 to January 16, 2027, and Spring 2027 position would be from January 16, 2027 to July 1, 2027.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related discipline relevant to the teaching areas; experience with teaching at the undergraduate level highly preferred. Successful candidates will attend weekly lectures, be present during lab, lead weekly discussions, hold regular office hours, meet with the course instructor(s), and assist in exam writing and grading as it applies to the course being taught.
