Salary Range: $68,000/Annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours: 40 hours per week, exempt.

Essential Functions
Job Summary
This is a grant-funded position, which may be extended or shortened based upon availability of grant funds and/or work.
Provide technical skills to analyze data, develop computational models, and contribute to the design, generation and maintenance of artificial intelligence tools for biomedical and clinical applications.
Core Responsibilities
- Design analysis tools, visual interfaces and artificial intelligence models to interpret biomedical data.
- Implement algorithms for analysis and other research purposes.
- Develop, test and debug tools and software.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields from an accredited institution.
- One (1) year of artificial intelligence, technical leadership and/or software development experience with complex projects.
- Additional specialized skills may be required depending on specific projects or assignments.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields. OR Cross-disciplinary skillsets in AI and biomedical engineering, clinical applications and/or neuroscience.
- Two or more (2+) years of AI modeling, user-experience design and/or software development experience with complex projects.
- Two or more (2+) years of experience in industry or open-source projects.
- Strong skills in Python, JavaScript and knowledge of TensorFlow, HuggingFace, Google Cloud Platform.

Working Conditions
Physical Demands:
- Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
- Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
This position is Remote or Hybrid-Occasionally: Primarily works remotely but may work on campus on an infrequent basis. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
