Position Summary:
This non-tenure track Assistant Professor will teach Electrical and Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering. In addition to teaching, they may advise students on their academic or professional programs, participate in research projects, serve on graduate students' supervisory committees, engage in outreach and engagement activities, and act as expert advisors to student groups. Assignment to a clinical faculty position is based on demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in the field, academic degrees, or other professional accomplishments comparable to those expected of faculty within the unit.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate and Master's Degrees in Electrical Engineering
- Experience communicating orally and in writing to a range of audiences in English.
- Experience teaching undergraduate level courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Idaho Professional Engineering License within 5 years of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An earned doctorate in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience teaching electrical engineering courses.
- Relevant industrial experience is highly desirable.
